Black Eye 20 Standard

20 watts from 2x EL84

Designed by Epic Amplification, the Black Eye fits into our 2.X platform of chassis/cabinet and transformer set.

Channel One is our version of classic Marshall tones, similar to an 800.

Channel Two is higher gain, like a modded Brown Sound.

Features:

• 4 12AX7 preamp tubes
• 20 watts from 2x EL84 power tubes
• Thick black PCB with through hole construction. High-quality components throughout
• Aluminum chassis with acrylic control panel overlays
• Heavy, custom-wound Jet City power and output transformers
• Tube-driven effects loop at pedal level
• Saturation switch. Effective only on channel two, this front-panel switch adds distortion and a bit of compression.
• .68uf switch. This front-panel switch near the output of the amp selects between the stock .1uf cap value and a .68uf cap. Sometimes known as the Lynch mod, the .68uf value adds a bit more aggressive mid-range.
• Foot switch included

Standard Series amps are available in black only, without piping or corner protectors.

Every amp and cabinet is hand-assembled to order at our private offshore workshop — built to your exact specifications, one at a time, and shipped direct to your door.

Standard shipping arrives in approximately 30 days (USA/Canada). European orders may take up to 60 days as shipments clear customs and are distributed by country.
