Designed by Epic Amplification, the Black Eye fits into our 2.X platform of chassis/cabinet and transformer set.

Channel One is our version of classic Marshall tones, similar to an 800.

Channel Two is higher gain, like a modded Brown Sound.

Features:

• 4 12AX7 preamp tubes
• 20 watts from 2x EL84 power tubes
• Thick blue PCB with through hole construction. High-quality components throughout
• Heavy, custom-wound Jet City power and output transformers
• Tube-driven effects loop at pedal level
• Saturation switch now included. Effective only on channel two, this front-panel switch adds distortion and a bit of compression.
• Depth control now included. Rear-mounted rotary control for adding bottom end on the output.

Contact us about adding these options:

• $29 Lynch mode switch. This front-panel switch near the output of the amp selects between two caps, including a .68uf, which allegedly Mr Scary preferred for a bit more aggressive mid-range.
• $19 Cold-clipper switch. Effective on both channels, this front-panel switch puts one cap in or out of the preamp for a subtle variance of the gain stage.
• $39 Capacitor upgrade to Orange Drops
• $59 Add a Mercury Magnetics Smooth DC choke

Assembled in California from US-made and imported parts. Each amp is built one at a time and hand-serialized.
