Designed by Epic Amplification, the Black Eye fits into our 2.X platform of chassis/cabinet and transformer set.
Channel One is our version of classic Marshall tones, similar to an 800.
Channel Two is higher gain, like a modded Brown Sound.
Standard:
4 12AX7 preamp tubes
20 watts from 2x EL84 power tubes
Thick blue PCB with through hole construction. High-quality components throughout
Heavy, custom-wound Jet City power and output transformers
Tube-driven effects loop at pedal level
Custom:
Gold control panel acrylic
Saturation switch
Front-panel channel switch with channel two LED
.68uf switch. Selects between the stock .1uf cap value and a .68uf cap. Sometimes known as the Lynch mod, the .68uf value adds a bit more aggressive mid-range.
